I am proud to be part of the Global Citizenship Ambassador team at school. Its 5 strands – Service, Sustainability, Intercultural Understanding, Diversity, and Social Justice – all speak into my heart. We all have a part to play, because we are all a citizen of, not just our country, but also the world. Let’s use our voice and our actions to make our world a more cohesive and harmonized place.
Promoting Diversity at school
This is a movie night I led at school with a few fellow GC ambassadors. I choose the movie “Hidden Figures” because it is an epitome of promoting Diversity, Intercultural understanding, and Gender equality. The event was a huge success! I learnt a lot through leading communications and promotion to the students. Isn’t my poster cool?
Traveling
Being able to explore different parts of the world made me have intercultural understanding. I love getting to know people of diverse cultures and traditions. It always fascinates me when I get the chance to understand the life of a person from another side of the earth.
